World Oral Health Day Camp

The Department of Periodontology, MCODS, Manipal, organized an oral health screening and treatment camp in observance of World Oral Health Day at Manipal Payment and Identity Solutions, Manipal, on March 25, 2026. The program was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Santhosh Kumar, Professor and Head of the Department, and Dr. Gopalakrishnan D, Dean, MCODS, Manipal. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of oral health and its impact on overall systemic well-being. The departmental team performed comprehensive clinical examinations, educated participants about their dental conditions and treatment needs, and emphasized the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene practices. A total of 158 individuals were screened, of whom 33 received appropriate treatment. This program orients with SDG goals 3, 4and  17.
