MCON- Visit of Adjunct faculty

Manipal College of Nursing (MCON), Manipal actively believes in quality education (SDG4), which forms the basis for the student's academic and personal lives. MCON has a partnership (SDG 17) with universities across the globe and is actively engaged in collaboration with faculty from universities across the globe. Dr. Vimala Ramoo, Associate Professor (Research Coordinator), Department of Nursing Science, Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, visited Manipal College of Nursing as adjunct faculty from July 21, 2024 to August 2, 2024. During her visit, she shared her expertise with undergraduate and postgraduate students, PhD scholars, faculty, and the staff nurses of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. As a DAC member, Dr. Vimala had a discussion with the PhD scholar, Mrs. Remya, about the research study. Dr Vimala interacted with Dr Karunakar Kotegar, Director, International Collaborations, MAHE, heads of MCON, MCHP, PSPH, MCODS, and Hospital administration and discussed the possibilities of collaborations with Manipal Academy of Higher Education and University Malaya, Malaysia. The visit was coordinated by the Department of Child Health Nursing.
